As a licensed Balance Responsible Party (BRP), VIM Energy Systems can trade both energy and capacity on behalf of customers and on its own account. This gives clients access to a level of market participation that would otherwise require significant infrastructure and expertise of their own.
The company has been developing advanced control systems for large-scale battery storage (BESS) since 2019 — both as standalone installations and in combination with wind and solar power plants.

VIM Energy Systems is one of a small number of European manufacturers of large-scale battery storage systems. Battery cells are sourced from China, and the company has maintained a strategic partnership with EVE Energy Ltd — the world’s second-largest manufacturer of BESS cells. Each completed battery system integrates components from multiple global suppliers, all controlled by VIM Energy Systems’ proprietary software.
The company’s rapid market expansion is reflected in its financial performance. For the first half of 2026, revenue is expected to reach approximately SEK 55 million — compared to approximately SEK 900,000 in the first half of 2025 and a full-year revenue of approximately SEK 56 million in 2025.
